My  list is shorter, maybe more frustrating.  Morph tool to change Katie into an older girl, not a big problem.  Fixing her hip joints to eliminate "crotch crinkles", frustration 101 and increasing.  Anything more than fifteen degrees or so of bend, poke through, or bending in ways cloth can but normally doesn't.  A couple of touches on her face with the morph tool and she's five years older, but with her not bending well, also not much point.  Elbows aren't the greatest either.

Currently seeing how many Genesis 2s I can load into one scene. No hair, no clothes, whatever textures they came with. So far I'm up to 25.

I really did not know I had bought that many unique G2Fs (well, have to subtract the 4 HD versions).

So far I'm only using 9GB of RAM

But then I haven't even gotten to A6 and the 4 or 5 characters based on her I have, nor to V6.

This could end in tragedy.

DrNewcenstein ( ) posted Sun, 28 December 2014 at 6:44 PM

41 individual G2F characters, with SSS textures, 12.4GB of RAM to display, 18GB to render.

Gonna push my luck and see if I can get hair and clothes on 'em all.

January's List

1)  Install everything not already installed.  About 100 products of various sizes (35+ are hair).

2)  Get email fixed so can access password resets for various sites.  Probably not until Monday.

3)  Get what I want from those sites and install.

4)  Character creation for Omni-project (same characters used in various contexts).  Need 50+.

5)  Finish building wrestling ring and arena venue.

6)  Finish wrestling pose sets and game style screen formats.

7)  Study Flash game program and make wrestling game.

8)  Adjust as needed.

Recovery time here.

Recover from the ten pound ham my nephew brought home, for two of us to eat.  No more ham for a while, thank you very much.

Recover from people that don't listen when I say don't get me more crap that I don't need.   I got enough of my own, don't need to add to it.

Recover from my December CC spree, remind self that maybe a $1000 spree might be excessive.

Then

Take my fastest computer in, tell Shawn to put as much memory in it as it will support.

Try to get my model building space back and start filling the house with balsa dust.

Tell self that thinking I'm going to be flying one of those little bullets with my bad eyes is what comes from the male bovine.

Try anyhow, cry a lot.  A crash there is not as cheap as a computer crash.

My 27" viewsonic monitor quit!  Didn't need that.

Bad dream, I was in the police station trying to find out how much trouble I'd get in if I threw out all the junk a woman supposedly living here owns.

Bad part, not a dream.  She has until Monday to get everything out of here or I put it out to be picked up Tuesday.

The good part, with that monitor dying, I have an excuse to buy another 42" Sanyo TV to use as a monitor.  Have one already, hate TV but it's one fine monitor.

i have a 32" hannspree and a 24" hanspree, using the 24" to drag the library to it.  works great for poser and ds, carrara doesn't undock the library.

i'm looking at upgrading my desk when my tax-refund comes. was looking at 2 27inchers with the dual monitor mounting arm.  but 42" sounds good.

Not knowing what a "smart" TV is, I don't know.  I looked at the one on display and saw the port for a PC input, that's all I needed and out came the bucks. Great if your eyes are bad, as mine are.  I'd thought it would be grainy with the same resolution as the 27 inch, but pleasantly surprised.

Perhaps not so odd, but I'm waiting on the same thing to replace the dead monitor.

Taking a break from trying to fix Katie, that is one messed up mesh that doesn't seem like it should be.  Second computer working on a Povray render, lots of transparencies, reflections, translate as hours to render.  Then I trash it and keep nothing.  Just keeping myself up to speed, probably going back to work on Katie some more.  Fix one problem, create three more.

Rendo forum truly sucks. My subscription to this thread netted me no emails. I hope they don't pay the programmer - this problem has gone on for months and he seems unaware that he has work to do. I have clicked unsubscribe and then again subscribe hoping that fixes it.

We have a lot of snow - drifts over seven feet block my windows. But I'm not in a flood area so no worries about that.

When all this melts, though, there could be issues.
