I thought we had a thread like this here but I guess not (or maybe it's just invisible to me).  Anyway, here's a personal project I started tonight. Nothing fancy yet.

Please post your own work in progress shots, would love to see your work. Would also like this forum to become more lively.

sounds good

Shoot I just wish they would change the header from zbrush 3.1....

Teyon posted Wed, 05 June 2013 at 10:22 AM

Jump on in gang. Any ol' time.

Finished the main body. Still have the rest of his gear and hair to do but I'll do that after I retopo the body.

Shoot man it would be an embarasement (sp) to post next to you as you like rock!

Aw thanks but c'mon I love seeing other people's work! It usually reminds me of how little I actually know about certain types of modeling. Like - I suck at machined parts. Always have. Cars, vehicles, wrenches....I totally suck at 'em.  So don't be shy, batter up!

Well, this is fast becoming a gallery thread for me. How depressing.

weird, the image didn't attach.

Started a new head.

SHONNER posted Mon, 17 June 2013 at 2:50 AM

I tried 4R5 recently.  But I am liking Sculptris and the new 3D-Coat 4.  I can't get into Zbrush's GUI, no matter how much I try to get excited about doing something in it.

I feel that way about 3D Coat - well, except for the excitement part...I was more curious than anything. Never could get into the interface/brush system.

well, while lacking your from scratch approach, this golem fella was made for genesis in zbrush. it's one of a couple creatures i've been batting around for a while that I'm trying to wrap up.

This is a rat, also for genesis, I've since gone back and refined the anatomy quite a bit as well as created a mouse morph.  I'd stalled out on the project after not being able to figure out how to geograft the tail, but Carl in Daz QA is going to try to give me a hand with it.

This is a layered lady magicians outfit I put together in zbrush.  it's also got pumps, transmapped fishnets, gloves and a hat.

Hi guys, I'm REALLY new to Zbrush and mstly use it in my Poser clothing work flow but here is one of the few things I've been working on in between times. Please don;t expect rapid updates, like I said it's a sideline project and doesn;t get a lot of attention. If you'd car to see some of my clothiing WIP which are split evenly between Silo, Zbrush and Phoitoshop.

Oh and maarked for nudity

Here's a quick doodle done today. About an hour or so.

With some color.

Very nice! I'm still in kindergarten where Zbrush is concerned. Im very impressed with your work. I'll post some more when I have something worth looking at. In the meantime I'm very happy to see your work and of course I will probably start begging for advise, LOL.

OMG..you guy's are GOOD !!! Look at this mess...hahaha

Letterworks posted Mon, 22 July 2013 at 2:23 PM

Not a mess, LOL It looks better than my early tries. The hard part I've been having is I keep wanting to do things the way I normally would in Silo. It's a total gear change!

Here's a set I'm working on for Anastasia, it's a combination of Silo and Zbrush work, Silo for basemeshs and Zbrush for dertails. Obviously it's for Poser but still a lot of the work in Zbrush.
