Hi,
If I am reading this right, it appears you have loaded Blacksmith3D version 5. Version 6 is the current version. Also, version 6 is a completely new program. I have both Version 5 and 6 running on my Windows 7 64-bit computer. Since it is on another drive it would be worth right clicking on the Blacksmith3D.exe file to check Properties to see if you have read and execute permissions under the Security tab since that is the kind of message that Windows gives for security problems.

It definitely sounds like it's a window's security issue. I think in Win 7 you can right click on the .exe file, Go to "Properties" and click the "Unblock" button on the "General" tab. The most up to date version 5 can be downloaded from here: http://blacksmith3d.com/files/Blacksmith3D-v5.1.0.10-Win.zip
Upgrades to version 6 can be purchased from our Exclusive store in the Renderosity Marketplace (which are currently on sale). http://www.renderosity.com/mod/bcs/?vendor=Blacksmith3D
Hi Thanks for the info.
I checked the properties and clicked the unblock button, opened the program tried the check for updates but got the same problem, so I clicked your link and am downloading it cheers.
Re The upgarde I checked out the page, but could not see a comparison or what is actually upgraded from V5. If I am missing something can you direct me to the correct page for comparison reasons no point to an upgrade unless huge improvements are there.
cheers Rowlando

Hi
When I try to run the program in windows 7 64 bit. I get a windows notice saying it could not run the program and nothing else.
The program is installed on a separate HD not my main C: drive it has always worked in the past.
cheers Rowlando
