The current Blacksmith3D version is 7.0.6.0 (Free Trial same as unregistered version, so trial users do not need to download and install additional software, simply buy the license and register through the Trial when ready). PLEASE CLICK HERE for additional links to older versions or the TTv2 base packs.
It actually sounds like there could be more than one issue going on with your registration. First, please make sure that you have extracted all the files in the zip with the "Use Folder Names" checked, and make sure that you launch the executable file from the Blacksmith3D 6.0.2.0 folder (that was created when extracting the files). The file path structure is VERY important for the registration to work properly. I usually just install the files/folder directly to my D: drive so I have a separate folder for each version of Blacksmith3D.
You will want to make sure that you allow the blacksmith3d software access not only through your firewall, but also in any anti-virus or anti-spyware/malware type software too.
Then, make sure that you are ONLY putting your new version 6 registration key into the first (top) registration field and nothing in the upgrade field. You can copy and paste your v.6 registration key from your Renderosity Account History at
http://www.renderosity.com/mod/bcs/account/?ItemList&vendor=783675
If you continue to have problems, you will need to email us a screenshot of your registration window (with info entered) to info@blacksmith3d.com.
Thanks!
Oh, I meant to also add that you might want to try our beta 6.0.7.0 version if you're running on Windows, because it might help with your registration issue. The link to download is http://blacksmith3d.com/files/Blacksmith3D-v6.0.7.0-Win.zip

Ever since I did the last update - which I'll admit I was late in doing and then thought I had a bad download of it so recently redownloaded it again, only to have the same problem - when Blacksmith3d 6 pro opens it says it cannot connect to the internet to verify my license so it will only run in demo mode, yet my computer is connected to the internet 90% of the time anyways. It won't allow me to re-register as it says my key has already been used (which honestly sounds BAD for anyone who has a disk crash or migrates to a new computer b/c then they are basically out of being able to do anything. So basically I bought your software, used it for a few weeks, got notification of an update and have been unable to use it for the last 3+months and now I really NEED to use it as it's backing up my workflow. Personally I think anything that has to be connected to the internet to work (software wise) is WRONG. Are we all on the internet 24/7 365 days a year - No. You travel, you have periods of non-connectivity, god forbid I use up my monthly internet allowance because yes NOT EVERYONE has unlimited internet. But at this point, I'm starting to think investing money in something that won't let me use it 90% of them time is not a worth while thing. So please, someone - help me figure out what is wrong with the application because one should not have to go through this every time there is a software update. I'm already using the application in admin mode, I installed it in admin mode, I did add it to my firewall initially so it SHOULD still be in there unless you all have changed something drastic in what its going through.... so I am totally stumped and frustrated.
