I checked egibility for upgrade from 5 Pro to 6 Pro toaday but Renderosity failed to recognize my seria.

The message :

License Verification

Oops! We are unable to verify your registration key.

PLEASE email info@blacksmith3d.com with your full name and the email address you used when you registered it so we can get you upgraded.

The message points to an invalid email address:

"Delivery to the following recipient failed permanently:

     info@blacksmith3d.com"

I need to be cleared asap - Björn Ringholm

Solved... I was not looking at the right product...

Unable to start a new thread so am now attempting to attach this information here as relevant to registration problems.

I upgraded from v5 pro to v6 pro some time ago and have the registration key and upgrade key.

Now attempting to install the latest update the program will not validate and also will not run in any other mode than demo mode. All my other softwares have no problem connecting to the internet, but Blacksmith3D is tossing me a message that it is unable to connect to the network for validation.

I have tried removing the v6 program and reinstalling only with the same results. Those installs do not ask for my registration information during install and yet the registration numbers show up under the help context menu. Assume the registration numbers are in the windows registry file.

I have other earlier versions of Blacksmith installed, but in different directories - they work properly.

On startup Blacksmith3D reports: "Demo mode enabled. Please connect to the internet and restart the program so Blacksmith3D can check in with the server." OK - then it starts, and under Help / Register there is all my correct information - but the program remains in demo mode. It also reports: !This upgrade key has already been used to upgrade another key, or the license key you are trying to upgrade has already be upgraded with a different key. ! Demo mode. Save/export disabled. ! Could not validate activation." Version 6  v6.1.0.1

I sent an email to the info box, I ran into this same problem -- v5 works fine.  v6.0 works fine.  v6.1 runs in demo mode, and refuses to recognize the serial.  If I populate the realityPaint/B3D 5 key and the upgrade key, then I get the "this key has already been used to upgrade a different one" message.  However, v6.0 continues to operate correctly.

Please make sure that you are ONLY putting your new version 6 registration key into the first (top) registration field and nothing in the upgrade field.  You can copy and paste your v.6 registration key from your Renderosity Account History found at this url: http://www.renderosity.com/mod/bcs/account/?ItemList&vendor=783675

Replacing the registration number with the upgrade number and blanking out the line where the upgrade number used to appear, fixed my installation of the 'Update' into version 6.0.2 enabling version 6.1.0.1 such that it is now out of demo mode. It's a bit confusing - this, but eventually I got the number jiggled around into the correct registration box and the other box empty. Yes ! It works.

Just FYI -  The registration fields are being simplified in our next update to only have one field.
