Subject: Sketchup to Vue

I had a hard drive crash and have had to reinstall everything on a new hard drive.  I had the Sketchup to Vue module from Cornucopia 3D and I am trying to install it in Sketchup 2015.  I had not had a problem in the previous version of Sketchup.  The problem is I'm not sure where to install the plugin.  There is not a plugin directory in Sketchup 2015.  I tried creating a plugin folder but the program is not recognizing it.  The instructions that came with the module only take about Sketchup 2014 and earlier.  It says that the location should be Users/John/AppData...  There is not an AppData folder!  The only Sketchup location I can find is in Programs.  Does anyone have any experience using the Sketchup to Vue extension in Sketchup 2015 that can help me?

Also, does anyone know where I can download the free version of Sketchup 2014?  I had installed it in that before the crash and had no problems. I've done a Google search, but all I seem to be able to find is Sketchup 2014 Pro which is the paid version.

I am using Vue 2014 Studio.  I had no problem with the Vue part of the installation. The instructions on the Sketchup website are no help.

OK, with help from some kind folks on the SketchUp forum I think I have the problem solved. Just in case someone else has  this same problem here is the solution. The path C:UsersYOUR USERNAMEAppDataRoamingSketchUpSketchUp 2015SketchUpPlugins  was hidden by default on my computer.  That is obviously why I could not find the AppData folder and it's subfolders.  Someone suggested that I go to the properties for the C:UsersYOUR USERNAME folder and make the hidden files visible.  Then I copied the Vue Export ruby files into the Plugin folder and restarted Stetchup Make 2015 and the Vue Export is now available. Hope this helps someone else.
