I'm trying to export some props from Cinema 4D to daz3d. But when I do the prop is way to large . What are the correct settings for exporting back to Daz3d ?

Experiment! I use Riptide Pro for exporting OBJ but C4D can of course export this natively. If the object is too big you probably need to go to C4D menu Edit > Preferences and in the Import/Export section change the scale of your exports.

Hi,

I believe the even the free basic version of Riptide has an "Export to poser" preset

That is the one I use to send models to DAZ &Poser

Yes, I believe it will but apparently the free version of Riptide is incompatible with C4D versions later than R11-11.5 and also will not work in 64 bit.

i did this today and using riptide, the poser preset seems closest although still may need to fiddle a bit, also learned something about importing to Daz Studio from c4d, to save your self a headache, make the materials very basic and not too complex with material names as any discrepancy makes the imported object seem to lose all textures. so i got rid of all image info just stuck with diffuse basic colours and it imported properly :-) jobs a good un

Quite true  Sir,

I am still running 11.5 on OSX

with Riptide Pro

I keep forgetting how far I am behind in versions

as I don't frequent C4D online forums much these days.

I am importing DAZ files to Cinema 4D, everything imports allright except the eyes look almost all white, has anyone else run into the same situation, I tried editing the eyes textures in Cinema 4D but can't get the eyes to not have the zombie look, any one that has found a way to make it work and can respond with a simple direct explanation for how they made it work would be appreciated, thanks

I posted a method for the eye materials in this thread:

its genesis 1 but the idea should still apply.
