I wonder if Codeman Studios is still around.  He and I discussed the same subject late decade.  He went so far as to generate an initial ZBrush sculpt, but then he needed to focus on other vendor related projects and the exercise just kinda' petered out.

Given I would usually depict the Kaled Mutant within the Dalek travel machine. I settled for a crude "Frankenstein" approach I could achieve on my own.

But maybe CodeMan will see this thread and he'll continue where he paused years ago.

Sincerely,

Bill

I would take on this challenge but it's a little too similar to a figure I've been working on for a while now, mine is more like a cthulhu/modok hybrid though. Sorry keeping it hidden til finished. You'll probably remember me bluto, I built that cyberman head for you a couple years ago. Same dude, different name. Looking at your ref sculpts I'd say it'll need at minimum about 102 bones and easypose. The brain and body details are best done with a zbrush displacement map and painted texture. There's utilities for setting up easy pose. I use 'all tied up' which is reasonably priced and really flawless once you have your rig set up. Being that the creature only has one eye you wouldn't have to worry about any eye ERC for syncing purposes. Likewise no discernable mouth parts. Setting up the groups and .cr2 tidying up would probably be the most tedious aspect of the process.

Looking on with interest. If anyone decides to build this and needs some advice, feel free to sitemail me.
