The secret to good lighting. This tutorial will explain how to use Daz's Uberenvironment Lights. I have tried to explain how to use this lighting with this tutorial and when you learn this you should not be afraid to add more spotlights and distant lights. DAZ Studio Introduction for Newbies
A set of six video tutorials designed for the newbie.
Tutorial No. 1 discusses the user interface and how the user can set it up to his/her own liking.
Tutorial No. 2 shows how Daz Studio reads content and how to get the most out of the content management system in Version 2+.
Tutorial No. 3 shows how to install content to the internal content folder, both using the Daz installer and by doing it manually.
Tutorial No. 4 shows how to set up an external content folder to install content to, and how to teach Daz Studio where to find the external folder.
Tutorial 5 takes a more advanced view at the content management feature of Daz Studio.
Tutorial 6 will show you how to create a new default scene that will load each time you open the program or create a new project.
The first four videos were captured at 1280x800 in a Windows XP Pro environment on a G5 Mac Pro, and were designed specifically for PC users.
