Hold it right there Citizen. Put down the Umpty Candy and the Munce and come here. A little Birdie tell's me you could be a Cursed Earth Perp looking for some classic SF action. Well you've just found it, harder than a hour in the Aggro-Dome, and not for Jimps.

The FREE Judge Dredd Construction Kit features a Helmet, Boots, and Textures* for the VP Jumpsuits. Plus full instructions on how to find and place all the other parts you need to make
your own Poser version of Old Stoneyface.

This is the classic 2000AD Classic Dredd not the Stallone movie version.

Thanks to EDW for the helmet and boots.

This kit is for non-commerical useage only as Judge Dredd and 2000AD are trademarks of Rebillion Publishing. As a long term reader, I'm offering this purely in the sprirt of fandom. 2000AD has been running since 1977 and now is upto nearly 1500 issues. Please Support them and buy 2000AD.

Anderson for V3 next ?

"Anderson for V3 next ?"

Nope. The props you need from animotions come with the Judge Anderson figure.

Glad the helmet and boots worked out.

Hmmm. I wonder if there are any bits out there to make te dark world judges, especially Judge Death.

Thanks for old Dredd though!

"any bits out there to make te dark world judges".

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Judge_Death

Don't think so. images shows (top next to Klegg) Fear, Mortis (next to Cal) and Death. Fire not shown. Death would be the easiest one to make. Helmet wise it's only a portculis.  The pads and armour would have to be 'hand' made. If anyone wants to try I'm happy to supply scans as reference material.

Now if somone wants to make a Klegg :)

 edited to add -

  1. Thanks Ed you did a great job here.

  2. The textures will work on the V3 jumpsuit, so yes you could make a V3 judge anderson easily. That would look with the grace lion hair by quarker.

The Juves from Orson Welles Block pinched Joes helmet from the recently uploaded .zip.  A fixed file has been uploaded with the helmet (prop) and the juves are serving 6 in a iso-cube. *

  • Actually I just goofed and uploaded an older one :)

Seriously. Thanks to Richard for finding and pointing out the bug here.

You folks can find a fixed file here, even has new shiny thumbnails :)

Thanks Mr Sparky! I'll have to go have a flip through my old 2000ads and Titan Albums to pick up all the funky lingo again...

Did anyone play the PC Game? I was tempted to get it but the reviews were pretty negative - the Rogue Trooper game appears to have a better wrap though.

Cheers

Edit - Arrgh! Download seems to not be working! Any ideas?

Edit2 - Phew - works now! Thanks again...

Just tested all fine! I looked at the stats there was a short burst, ahh the joys of cheap hosting.

The game looked OK, but there was no 8 way movement in the demo I tried. only left/right up/down. Impossible to play wasn't going to risk 40 quid on that. I have seen it in the cheapie bins at PCworld.

bigjobbie ( ) posted Thu, 06 July 2006 at 4:21 PM

OMG - I never even read there was limited movement...how appalling!

Let's hope the makers are rotting in an iso cube!

"Poor implimentation of a Judge in a viddy game - 10 years creeps!"

He's tough but fair...

Cheers

PS: been thinking of the best Chin in poserdom and I think I'm going to try using Freak's head under the helmet parented to M3's body...

mrsparky ( ) posted Thu, 06 July 2006 at 4:52 PM

Wonder if Moggadeet would be nice enough to make us a Stallone head for M3 ?

In the original annuals (83 I think) there was a contest about who'd make the best JD. Stallone won which I always think was kinda prophetic :)

If you live in the UK, the movie is on Channel 5. Sunday or wednesday.

I always thought SF TV Show Alien/Monster regular Brian Thompson would've made a good Dredd - has an incredible jaw and a kind of wry edge to his monster acting. Certainly if they went for a TV Show and kept Dredd's Helmet on...

Cheers

Edit - here's his IMDB photo - you might recognise him (Was the Alien Bounty Hunter Assassin shapeshifter in the Xfiles)

Had a play with the bits and pieces - beefed him up a little - used Poserworld's M3 Catsuit.

Will need to dig up a poseable chain from somewhere as the Anderson version is more suited to a ladylike chest.

But it's certainly looking like Ol' Stonyface!

Cheers
