Subject: Poser legs in acute angles

RobynsVeil ( ) posted Sat, 30 December 2006 at 6:57 AM · edited Mon, 25 November 2024 at 10:33 PM

I'm refering to V3: when she bends her legs in acute angles of upwards of 100 degrees, there is this un-natural bump at the top of the thigh, almost like it's been broken. And the knees - sheesh! Totally weird knees. Good job The GIMP was around - I had to do some serious editing for:
the before

to become:

The after

So, I was able to deal with it in post-processing. Anyone have any clues on how to do it before the render stage??

Cheers Robyn

Amarcord,
Well done - that was what I needed. I'd be curious to know how they arrived at those figures for the joints - trial and error?
Thanks again for pointing out that page...
Cheers,
Robyn
