Not really sure what qualifies as an augment. Some stuff naturally goes together like: forceLimits 1 min -100000 max 100000

But I don't know if you could call min and max augments to forceLimits.

Yes, linkParms should definitely be on the list.

My criterion is this: if it only makes sense in the context of some preceding line, then it's an argument. If the limits set-up looked something like

    limits

      on

      -100000

      100000



then I would regard the three lines following "limits" as arguments. But the way it's actually done, the "min" and "max" lines could in principle be anywhere in the channel code with the same meaning (and least that's what I think is - and hopefully will keep being - the case).

Another example I thought of in the meantime are the inclusion/exclusion spheres in JP channels.
