William Landgren, a 14-year-old Blender artist, just keeps delivering amazing 3D animations, like his latest "Takeout" short, created in Blender.

He has an incredible attention to detail and created shots with very realistic lighting and materials. Reminds me a bit of Ian Hubert's style.

I just got a link to that video in one of my eNewsletters a few minutes ago, and yes it's amazing. The details are really well done.

Yes it is truly amazing and the level of detail is beyond what I thought was possible I would be interested in know what his hardware set up is and if he used a render farm or rendered himself

I'm not sure about a render farm, but he may very well have more than one computer he can use.

I initially got the link to his video in one of my CGBoost eNewsletters, and I didn't notice any indication of how long this project took him, so with all the detail he put into it, it could've taken 6 months or more, and that's not including the rendering.

Very true Miss B I just recently came across an article of actually building a render farm relatively cheap using Raspberry Pi's in a cluster might have to look more at it since I have already set up a media server with Raspberry Pi and some spare hard drives
