I'm trying to paint footprints on a terrain. Screenshot below of my settings. This is a procedural, but I get the same results with a standard.

When I use the brush, all I get is a big hole, not the footprint. Any suggestions on what I'm doing wrong?

Use the bitmap brush as a mask, with a low flow value.
