Subject: Baking to Transforms

DocPhoton ( ) posted Mon, 03 February 2025 at 10:25 PM · edited Mon, 10 February 2025 at 5:54 PM

I know I've asked about this before,(probably on Daz), but I'll try again.

When mixing Shaping of multiple figures, I'm being successful using the Bake to Transforms..., but I really don't know what I'm doing. I just Brute Force Bake Poses, General, Actor, etc. I don't see any way to make a preset for ALL in order to make a suitable exporting with just one pass.

Might there be some basic "care & feeding" instructions?

What are you expecting it to do? It's job is to take the settings of control that affect multiple properties/bones (e.g. pose controls, like the ones for making a hand grasp) and turn them into settings on the base level properties (e.g. the individual finger bends).

I'm using it for default pose but mixing Shape info from 2-3 Characters. When the requestor comes up, it defaults to what's shown. You can't multiple select Property Types.

Perhaps a different tool or procedure?

You can always run it multiple times with different settings.

That's what I've been doing but hoping there was a preset to do it in one go.
