A free .pdf tutorial. Walk through project - it's not hard but care must be taken to do all the steps correctly.
In this tutorial we make 3 auto-fit clones: one each for Genesis 8M, Genesis 8F and G8.1F.
n.b. If one makes an auto-fit clone for G8 then one does not need to make another one for G8.1 as they are the same shape and G8.1 reads the auto-fit clones of G8.
The purpose of auto-fit clones is to enable the sharing of clothes between closets ;-) With the new clones you can make, G8 will be able to wear clothes from the closet of G9.
This auto-fit feature is specific to the Daz Studio program. The most recent edition of D/S to date is required for all aspects for G9 to work.

Happy to see so many people enjoying this :-) @ MarkCM Due to the way hair is rigged, not likely. Can try it and see what happens. Often we just bring hair made for other figures into the scene and use them as a prop and parent it to the head. {don't use "fit to"}
