hehehehhe great man... i always have the problem with skeletons that i wonder if they're moving or not. The 'death-clothing' gives the impression he could be 'alive' but there are no eyes so you can see the character is thinking about sometinh (the eyes ara the mirror of the soul)Mostly the eyes of skeleton-guys are covered by the cape because of this. - but this has no eyes so the only thing to make it more alive is to give him an active pose, or have him interact with somthing.. anyway, looks great man.. heh.. luv it.

Thank you all! @Rinus: in the final version he'll have the blue glowing eyesockets (as described in da books), and he'll be in an other pose, or probably there'll be more pictures of him doing things :) I really like this characther, so I wann improve him. It's my first character ever, so riging will be a problem. Thanx for the comments!

ha ha ha .. this is super! Looking forward to the final one, this is a very cool character and I love how you place a fantasy creature in a photoreal rendered environment. Excellent

Arr..the Grim Squeaker...but wheres the Death of Flees? The Grim Leaper ;) Nice DOF, charecter and composition. The blade needs to reflect something, make it look sharp enough to cut souls. Also, there seems to be a diamond shape glitch on the robe. Apart from that, great work!
