I live in a small town just north of Johannesburg (South Africa).
I have been working in Bryce 4 and Poser 4 for about since January 2000 (no books only tuts from the net).
I truely enjoy creating and working in 3D. I am currently doing a 3D Studio Max Fundamentals course (not enjoying it) and will then proceed to Maya. I prefer Bryce and Poser to Max because their interfaces are so much simpler to use.
As is said I have no real information on B4 and P4 so if any one can offer tips or URL's for to guide me I would be really stoked (means happy).
I have used a lot of materials and objects from various Renderosity artists and I would like to thank you all for making them available and to compliment you on your work.
THANK YOU and KEEP IT UP.
The image on this page is a design for my own virtual shop. (I am currently a Fashion designer with a doctorate in Philosophy and a Masters degree in Journalism).
I welcome any positive comments or crits on my work and look forward to posting more of my art.
Take care,
Brad.

Excellent work and I agree about the sky, I think it should be darker and somewhat stormy as well. The temple is very impressive work. Verdie : )

The water is very good. Reminds me of Niagara falls. Oh hell. I like the whole thing.

This is so nice! It's an imposing structure we're approaching. I'm sure you experimented with other skies, but I believe a darker sky, or a stormy one, would allow the soft red lights inside the tower to become more apparent, and would suggest a warm place of refuge. Just a thought. You do excellent work!

I would not darken the sky. The image is ok as it is: Some strange building under blue skies, well, kinda Riven, but let's see it als compliment :-)

I agree. Darken the sky. You could even add some red to it via the custom atmospher. Also, some mist rising from the water and trailing up along the bridge would be nice. Sarah
