Description

I really like the way this one turned out...much better than Arid:panorama I think. :) Rendersize: 18,000x3,000 pixels Rendertime: 2 days, 2 hours, 51 minutes (ultra AA and extra-blended detail turned on) Terrain: 4097x4097 WM 1.25 standard edition terrain Postwork (in this exact order): open, sharpen, resize to 9,000x1,500, sharpen, resize to 4,500x750, sharpen, resize to 2250x375, sharpen, save. Please enjoy this one....I'm quite happy with it. :D --Mike

Very impressive and extremely well done. The only thing is that I'm not sure that multiple sharpen/resize were needed. Is there any difference if you directly resize at 2250x375, then sharpen ?

Fantastic work - one point, I think Ultra-AA is for the edge of water to terrain - not necessary to turn it on here. Keep on going! @Tiwiwine and @Ionel: there is surely a large difference between resizing and sharpening vs. resizing in steps. But do not overdo it!

Need to get me a 16/9 wide screen. This image in its entirety is outstanding. The good work you've put into it shows!

You should be it's stunning. Unfortunately, dark images don't get enough attention in the gallery.
