Description

On this location I find some neat ice-crystals, with almost the same size as the last time I found them. When I scan the slide and perform the normal operations to the scanned picture I obtain the left picture; the right picture appears when I apply autolevels in Photoshop. Although the colors are less natural the details are shown better. What one do you prefer? Minolta X-700 (Fuji Sensia 100, 70 mm) Thanks for your attention and your always valuable comments

I can see the face (left part of both pictures) better with the picture on the right, looks more real yet the left one looks more clean. Go right my friend, go right!...lol Excellent on both. Aloha

I find the auto most the time will change the colors too much so I do it myself amd try to keep the colors and get the image to comeout better. But you right the right one is better

Can't say one is better than the other -- both are excellent. My preference is for the one on the left, as I think those cool blues bring out the element of temperature here.

It's a toss up for me...I like the natural colors, but crave the details..both have their own unique features...Nicely done! Aloha!

I guess I'd choose the one on the left... and only because it seems to be more pleasant to the eye. Now if I was just going for the details, it would be the one on the right. Either way... it's a fascinating point to make.

I prefer the one on the right, as I can see more apparent detail, Jan-Carel. Regards, John.
