Pretty cool! I'm not sure about the rocks... they look great (procedural landscape?), but did you try an alternative render where there base is under water?

Hi Alexander, Good catch! The base of the rocks wound up coming above the water level due to some clueless experimentation with metaball objects. I didn't notice it until I posted it, but I figured the render time was too long to fix until the weekend.
