Description

There is a turnoff of Utah Hwy 261 before the switchbacks that leads you to this gorgeous vista. (Please see Windworker's 'UT 261 Switchbacks' image.) This turnoff takes you to the edge of the mesa seen in that image. From this vantage point looking south you can see the many layers of terrain as it descends into the Valley of the Gods. Monument Valley can be seen on the Horizon.

Nice Vista. I've been on that Hwy. twice before and I know the vantage point you are refering to. I've also been on the road to the Valley of the Gods. Not much of a payoff though.
