Description

Hi everybody, Just a simple work I'd like to share with you. I'm happy with the soil, though the big fake stones didn't turn out very well. I like the texturing and cracks but the overall shape looks ugly I think but I didn't feel up to tweaking them anymore. The tree's bark is something I'd like to improve as well. Martin

Hmm… you say that you are not very satisfied with this scene. Let me say that I would be really glad to be capable of such wonderful landscape. TG2 is a very difficult software to use, seems not to be very stable, renders are said to be very slow, but what it can do is properly stunning and this is a true rival for Vue, Mojoworld, Carrara, not to speak of Artmatic. The kind of quality that you achieved in this render is a true challenge even for many of us who are professional illustrators.

I believe the large stones details are very good as is; however, I think you would be much more satisfied with the results by making the base soil color and the large stones color the same; or, close to the same. Perhaps, reduce the population of large stones a bit would help as well. In all, this has all the elements of being an outstanding render with a few minor adjustments.

I do not agree with the others, it is true that the Pov is correct, especially the negative point of these rocks in the foreground it looks like nuggets of chocolate in a cookie and this tree lost in the middle, not j'accroche not on this image, you have already done much better, excuse me if you find me a little harsh but it's what I feel before your achievement!

Great vista. A sense of depth that you do not always see in TG2. Nice work. I like the tree.
