Description
The words escape your lips
So quietly as a breath of light
An utterance almost missed
Almost afraid to be heard
A feathery missive of adoration.
I am lost, fingertips reaching
To grasp the syllables, to hold them
In a solid place of magical memory.
I wish to record the moment,
To relive it once, twice, thrice,
To forever remain in a loop
Of your whispered "I love you".
