Description

I passed by this tree a few times up in Canyon Country, CA, not knowing exactly what it was, so this time I decided to pull over. I'm not certain what the circumstances are that made this interesting resemblance on this tree, but as you can see it has become a sort of holy shrine. For the true effect of the image of the Holy Mother, it does require standing at a particular angle to the tree, hence why the chair has been strategically placed?

One of those "odd but trues" I guess. I have no idea where this is and have not heard of it before but I will keep an eye out for it. I thought I'd heard about everything odd in this end of the state. :-) Cool capture.
