Description

For Piet aka busi2ness Because home is where the heart is. If you look real close Africa is almost the identical shape of the human heart. Please look from left to right, I wanted this to give the feel of a roll of negatives. This young lady got up circled around her man and with her backside to him literally slapped him in the face with her tail. On both sides! Unfortunately the young teenager next to me bumped into me and they were completely blurred. By the time we got to the third picture a little boy called out "mommy their fighting someone has to stop them!" The top three photo's took place in less than three minutes! (There is a joke in their but I'm not touching it with a ten foot pole!)LOL Well, the lioness immediately afterwards rolled on her back and smacked him a few times again and took off. These pics for the most part are in continuous. I didn't have the time to set the camera for continuous shooting. While these pictures may seem like nothing much at first glance. Look closely, these two move as one. It was such wonderful synchronized motion that Ester Williams would have been jealous. From their body language right down to the expressions on their faces they are one, they are warm, caring and loving. Such a priviledge to witness. In the last two pictures, I almost felt as if they were posing for me. Even as we walked away I said, "Frank, I feel as if I just took my first wedding photo's" I do hope everyone is having a wonderful week. Mega Hugs to everyone Michelle

Well.. like I always say: You can take the Cats out of Africa but you can't take the Africa out of the Cats! And now, after that totally deep sounding and extremely insightful bit of gibberish, all I got to say is great captures Michelle. As far as not touching that joke with a ten foot pole.. well I hardly have a ten foot pole to begin with. Ok.. perhaps 3 inches.. 6 inches on a good day.. but not 10 feet. Bravo and hugs from Dave :^)

This was very sweet of you Michelle. The collage tells a story I am very familiar with. Although the female may appear aggressive it's hardly more than a turn on for the male. You and Frank were very lucky to have seen this behavior in a zoo. Excellent coverage.
