My name is Tara, and I was born and raised in Washington State.
Â
In 2010 I married Bill (bmac62) and retired ... two of the best choices I ever made! :)
Â
In March, 2013, we sold our home in Washington and went on the road in our RV full time. What a blast! There is so much world out there to see!
After traveling around the West for a few years, we got rid of the motorhome and are now spending winters in deep-south Texas and summers in Washington State. Spring and fall finds us visiting whichever place strikes our fancy at the time!

This is an amazingly warm and inviting image. When I saw the thumbnail, I thought it was a straightforward shot of an antique, but seeing it full sized is just even more amazing. Low light photography is a fantastic thing, and you've done absolute wonders with this! I love the rich tones, the splashes of unexpected (but wholly appropriate) color, and yeah, even the tripod...there are so many ways that this image can be read, and I'm intrigued and entranced by it. I'll definitely be getting to more photography once I am in possession of a new camera! This piece inspires me! Great stuff!!!!!

Our ironing board is in the computer/office room and has been used several times for small photo setups. You did well and the view is intriguing.
