Description

FE & PS The name came, and I actually went to look it up, not realizing it was a real place. But, maybe I'd known that at some point, and just needed something to jog the memory, or sweep the cobwebs from my pea brain. The snow is coming down so beautifully soft-hard tonight, so this looked like a cozy and welcoming place. Actually, I happen to be completely in love with the white stuff, so this latest round of fluff is total food for my soul. A small aside. A couple of folks have asked how I manage the semi-landscape kinds of images in FE. Most are results of the Blue Corn formula there. If anyone would like a spot or two to play around with, just let me know, and I'd be more than happy to share. :) Wishes for a happy over-the-hump-day tomorrow...and a smooth rest of the week ahead. And, always, heartfelt thanks to each of you for viewing, your comments, and favs. Thoughts, Nancy~*

Great title for this Awesome picture !!! The sea between the mountains and the beach of sand is very attractive, as the traces of the wind blowing on the sand !!! Masterwork !!!

yes it does feel like a land, but an enchanted land because of the layers on which your forms rest, as if there are many 'earths' there. Your forms are jewel-like, and seem to glow from inside and around (you've modeled them with light on the edges rather than shadow on the edges which gives the feeling of light from behind curling around), and your grainer sections glisten: A feeling of intense life in each structure. I love the little 'residues' at the bottom-left, too; and your background is smooth & sweeping with deep greens & blues. A real landscape of the inner mind. "Lovely serene landscape" (eliza), agreed: I think it's beautiful.

I love how this looks like a great sandy beach and a receding sea, with a few mountains for good measure. Beautiful work for an excellent result. I must take another look at FE.

Well let me say that Mark has me sold on his idea of a enchanted land theory. All of the soft detailing really does make it a delight
