Description

HI! Thanks for dropping in to take a look. This is a mini series of two that I'm doing, finished this one first...Angel of Life will be up in a week or so. Hopefully this is some what disturbing to look at from a visual stand point, don't think the Angel of Death should be anything else. To that end I've "corupted" a lot of the textures and tried to make it difficult for the eye to settle in one place while still containing your attention to the canvas. The main figure, sky and all the souls in the bubbles were a straight render. The souls were renedered individualy and it was all layered in photoshop. About 70 percent of the flame is a skydome sunset that was altered, I painted the rest of the flame. All the bubbles, a bit of shading/high lighting and further texture smearing (sky and main figure) were done in photoshop. Hope you enjoy, if not, let me know what you think needs improving. I think you have accomplished your goals. The lead in along the sword blade creates a focus even while there are many details in the rest of the scene that are very well done.

Superb! Excellent visual images put together with some real art and craft! CGI IS more than what Poser renders, and I'm glad to see I'm not the only one. I know I'm not alone in it, but I'm always happy to see more. Creative and innovative!
