Description

... taken early evening yesterday. As the sun was starting to going down. Its kinda funny, how it seems not long ago, I thought this grunge stuff only ruined a photograph. But after a while it grows on you -- it did for me, obviously. Some of you may feel how I did .. for that, I apologize. :-) I'm on a roll here, so bare with me LOL Who knows what I'll get into next. On balance I'm still tipped toward photographic qualities BUT doing what you are doing is a ton of fun and you never know what the end result is going to be until you get to a stopping point that pleases you.

This grunge does have a use and the application can turn photos into creations only possible in the mind. The effect here is very professionally done and works well with this composition. I'm not sure I'd like this effect on a portrait but with what you've been working with, it does a great job...err...YOU do a great job. :-)

Its not that I don't like postwork, I just can't find the time to do much myself. Its not too far removed from a photograph it still holds the exif data, its when that is gone I don't think of it as a photo anymore. Excellent work Shari. Bravo!!!!!
