Description

Hi Friends! Galadriel is a fictional character created by J. R. R. Tolkien, appearing in his Middle-earth legendarium. She appears in The Lord of the Rings, The Silmarillion and Unfinished Tales. Nenya, also named the Ring of Adamant and the Ring of Water, is one of the Three Rings of Power. Nenya is described as being made of mithril and set with a "white stone", presumably a diamond (this is never stated explicitly, although the usage of the word "adamant", an old synonym, is strongly suggestive). The ring is wielded by Galadriel of LothlÃ³rien, and possessing radiance that matches that of the stars. Nenya's power was preservation and protection. Galadriel used these powers to create and sustain LothlÃ³rien, her Elven Kingdon. Thanks for all the wonderful comments and the favs in my last image. You know it means a lot! I took my time to savour this delightful image. The ring is certainly the focal point but it is not only the special affects but the long exteded arm that atracts the eye. The white diaphanous dress with sparkles becomes a strong supporting element.
