Well, I guess this has become tradition by now since it's the 3rd time for this. 2009 was a much less productive year than the year before (are we noticing a trend here)? Though as usual, I'm happy with the pieces that I did manage to produce. It's hard for me to pick out any standout favorites this year, since there are so few and I love them all, with each having taken turns as my wallpaper either at work, at home, or on my laptop.
So, which were your favorites of 2009?
The keen-eyed among you might notice that the thumbnail for "Not Avatar: Daru" has changed, and yes that means the image itself has changed, so go back and look at it if you want to see the difference or missed it altogether. :)

I think my favorite image this year was "This sure beats Tatooine", but then, I've always been a big fan of Lana. MORE of her in 2010! :D A close second is "R3-Q8, Does this make me look fat?". Oola looks gorgeous as usual, the background/apartment is simple yet makes you believe there's so much more to it, and the whimsical nature of the caption makes this image a favorite for certain. and, no, Oola, dear... that doesn't make you look fat at all. Thank YOU, Giolon, for another year of outstanding imagery! Here's looking forward to another year of more from you! More Lana! XD

Great stuff, I'd say quality wise it's been a good year for you, even if you've produced less (I've had the same trend). Long time, no see was definitely my favourite this year. The DoF effect adds quite a bit of realism to any piece, I would encourage you to explore it more often (even though it can be pain).
