Great piece. A whole lotta hurtin goin on and I think Kuan is hurting as much as she is. Great facial expressions and showing that knotted up anger that guys have when they cannot find the words.

I'm catching up slowly, but I couldn't resist peeking in on someone with Asian calligraphy as facial enhancement! I suspect that you've tapped an untapped resource here and that text should be incorporated into more sartorial expressions, whether as tattoos or as something smear-proof but temporary. Hmmm...how would that turn out in the real world though: would advertisers start paying people to stamp various logos on their foreheads? Okay, that might not be such a good idea after all...but it works so well in this image! And I love the intensity of this image. I love the fact that, visually, I can't exactly tell who is more heartbroken and upset! Guys...you know they're all emotional when they close their eyes and look stoic! Hmmm...wait...guys do that quite a lot, sometimes only because of jalapeno peppers, so scratch that "stoic expression as emotional response thing." At any rate, this is a fantastic image. ALL of your images are top notch, but there's something particularly intense here that I like...and as time progresses, I really hope to see (and comment on) more! This is great.
