Description

TG2 My version of a collab with Bob (choronr). The aurora is actually clouds and they take forever to render. The file by Bob is Borealis -North Light and is available for free from: http://forums.planetside.co.uk/index.php Thanks!

You given me some impetus here Mark, this is terrific! A cloud change is probably only a part of this success. As soon as my render is finished, I'm also going to try another one. Thanks.

Like a shower of light raining down from heaven. There are reports the the aurora does manage to reach as low as the surface though this is believe to be very rare. The trees are described to be like on a slow fire though they are unconsumed and uneffected.

That's lovely! I can imagine how difficult they must be to render. Still, the end result sure is nice!

Wow! You have really captured the wonder and the beauty of the Aurora with this gorgeous image. When I lived up north I never tired of watching those lights dancing in the night sky - even when I was freezing my *$$ off! The landscape there looked remarkably like this, so your image brings back many fond memories. Thanks for sharing, mate, and bravo on a fine piece of work.
