Description

I started this last November, originally intending to light and render it in Vue, but I really struggled with the lighting and set it aside. I picked it up again this week hoping to finish the Vue scene, but it kept crashing, I was just overloading my system too much. So...decided to finish it right in Poser. I didn't use a gel on the lighting, instead using a tree to the side for the shadows, along with IBL, raytracing and Depth of Field blurring. I did end up adjusting the brightness and contrast in Photoshop a little, but not much really. I think this is my best effort yet in Poser, although I still have a long way to go. Excellent light and colours, DOF works very well (I think poser does this better than Vue). Superb work :)

this is a poser scene? Wow that is realistic for poser, I seem to cant do poser renders very well...but this one is good. I just make characters in poser to import them into Vue.

I love the mood of this piece; it is, indeed primal. I love the light/shadow byplay and the relaxed and contemplative pose of the character. This is really top notch work.

You can feel her native pleasure in finding a warm spot in the dense forest to do a little sunning. The way the multiple shadows fall is really well done. Amazing what you can do with poser - it can create some pretty darn good lanscapes if you work with it - as you show here.
