Description

Today it is 10 years that I uploaded my first fractal to Renderosity. A lot has changed since then. My fractal fingers and eyes have become older, weaker. But there is still a fascination coming from these images... A lot has changed since then. Merely do I know all those people posting here. Merely do they know me. Life has changed a lot since then. UF has changed a lot. But – no need to cry about this. I just got my old stuff packed out. I took some oldies from 1999 and 2000, chose one that contained ideas and work and friendship from a Grand Old Lady: Queri. Lord knows where she now is... And I took some of my last creations from 2006 and 2007 and started a Remix. And it was fun. Not art, but fun. And now I do hope you can enjoy this work a bit. Regards, Andreas

Hi Andreas, Yes time drags us into old age, to live with bleary eyes, shaky fingers, trembling limbs, but time drags memories along for sustenance, that and evidence of things achieved. I'd say we create joy for ourselves, the art is for others to discern if they are so minded. Uncontrollable it isn't something we dare care about. The wonder here is that you take something from the past and fuse it into the present. Wow!

This one looks rooted to the earth and yet rising to flower in a digital sky. Bold and beautiful.
