Description

After my last shot of Reading moored in Oxford, I couldn't believe my luck a couple of weeks later to see the steamer Oxford moored in Reading. Oxford was built by Salter Brothers in 1921 and is 85ft long. Salter Brothers acquired the hull of the Dutch Kagerplas in 1958 and rebuilt it into their traditional style as the Mary Stuart. She is 60ft long ------------------------------------------ Original Photograph: 17 May 2012
