Description

My 4 year old HP crashed...not the power supply...something on the board...hard drive survived. Purchased the new Intel i5 quad core and this baby screams. This image rendered with high quality settings in 6 hours. Only postwork was contrast and sharpening. Thanks!

Congrats on your new system. As expected. you've done it again Mark. Neither of us is into animation; but, wouldn't be great to fly through this one? Beautiful work once more.

Very nicely detailed terrain. That asteroid belt gives it a Mojo feel.

The surfacing up front is monumental - that's one thing I like about TG2: the detail it can produce. Nice work!

Very far out. Realistic alien landscape. The asteroid ring is a great touch. Quite effective palette, too.

you were very lucky -- forced you to upgrade, it was well deserved. Hope you are enjoying the new power. I just lost my hard drive over the weekend and am slowly recovering things...

Anyway, this is a great image and, I feel sorry for your damages. If I had a positive critic to say, I would say it reminds me landscapes I missed with Bryce. All is perfect except the shape of this landscape for me (smooth effect). But great job on the planet, colors, effects and else.

Love the image. Realistic looking. And a new system makes it easier to render.
