Done in lightwave, a still from my current animation based on the opening space scenes in 2001 A Space Odyssey. This shows the German orbital bomb platform.

Ah, someone who read the novel and remembered those objects were not manned spacecraft or communications satellites, but rather, orbiting nuclear arsenals. Cinematically, it makes sense as well, the bone that "Moon-Watcher" throws into the air in victory, man's first weapon, cuts to a shot of man's ultimate weapon, the nuclear bomb. Sincerely, Bill
