Description

Tropaeolum Majus Ignis ... Nasturtium Fire My friend Ann brought me this brilliant blossom yesterday morning, and we marvelled at the complex and beautiful naughty bits! A single image doesn't do it justice. Next time you have a chance to look at a nasturtium, make sure you get up close and turn it all around. Amazing!

What a tremendous close up! It looks like an inferno. I think this would look great as a large wall piece. Evokes a sense of passion. ... Or maybe I'm just reading too much into it :)

OH yes it is a fantastic flower and I love it. I just doubt we can have it in our garden because of the deers. We have a silly name for these, because of the leaves. Something like a plate-smasher LOL!

They are amazing, especially those little upright "flames" in their hearts. Excellent capture, these are hard to shoot in my experience. Beautiful!
