Description

I've been away from my artwork for too long, so decided to get back into it with a series of alien landscapes... with a twist. I think I exhausted the "Space Science Digest" series of covers, but I wanted another series to get my teeth into, and since I liked doing my alien worlds why not start a series of them... so I am. The saucer is my own model, while the flag is from Mostdigital Creations... retextured and with a ripped transmap of my own. Hope you like it, and thanks for looking. Iain

Very intriguing. I love it. I puts me in the mind of a Jules Verne novel .... although that would have to be a French flag .... regardless, great composition.

Welcome back mate.....I thought that bloody huge Robot had 'stomped' you in Japan :-) Great render here and I know it will be a series worth following....but....if you should find the odd copy of SSD in, a rare book store, or one of those filing cabinets you seem to 'discover' in the basement of MI5, that would be cool too!! Good to see you back.....

Thanks everyone. The good thing about Bryce is that without even trying you can create a 'painted' look to the image rather than photo-realism, which suits me as I like to try and create retro space images. Neil... I think SSD may make an appearance sometime in the near future, but it will be further along from the last one I uploaded... maybe a summer special edition or annual...
