Description
Life is getting in the way of our life so I may not be here posting very often but I will do my best to keep up with comments. I am guessing on the species. It was sitting in a pot and waiting to be planted in a display. Someone had sprayed it with water, I liked the way tit looked and love this color. This photo was taken at the now closed American Orchid Society west of Delray Beach, Florida. This is an older photo from my old Minolta. This photo could be as old as 2004 and I left it large for zooming. Do zoom.
When I posted my Osprey photos about five weeks ago, someone asked where they go in the winter. They have only tracked young Osprey for the last few years. One was found in Rio Madeira, Brazil. That is almost a 4,500 mile migration each way from Cape Cod, Massachusetts. They have also found that only one in three will survive that first year flight. I hope that the young Osprey have found a way to remove the transmitters and that they all survive.

A beautiful orchid with a great colour and the water drops add to the shot although one should avoid spray on the flowers as it can cause them to mark. My thoughts are with you and I hope your problems sort themselves out soon.
