Description

-edit: not the girl with the owl, moi! ;-) - remember the owl? to me it actually was some sort of alien, not a clou what kind of owl it was. still young & fluffy and I recall it was a European owl, but it was not much smaller than an adult European eagle owl, which is considered to be the largest owl of all. it's almost embarrasing to have to confess that I didn't crawl through the bush or mud, nor did I hang upsidedown from a tree for 3 days in order to 'catch' that beast... (I'll tell you later where this was? ;-D) (this digiliterate) tried to use Brandy's magic trick to see if I miraculously could make small pics appear here nope! pfff so there are 10 more pics 'here': http://www.mijnalbum.nl/Album=3WM6SQ7F beastie & selfies. no, not mine! (did post a selfie -of myself on the 2nd wagon- as last pic. my 'good side' ;-D but of course I did not shoot it myselfie ;-D ) (beast damaged it's beak trying to break out -of jail-, I heard. the blue hue in the owl's eyes can sometimes be seen in the stork's eyes as well from a certain angle. often select the pics that show it. -such as 'egg cosies'-. nightsight??? -only familiar with leucistic FX here-) TYallSM for your wonderful comments (& fav.s!) on previous pics!! behind on commenting, sorry!!! will try to catch up in a few.

Wonderful little gallery! What a big glove. That needs the young lady as well ... Last we got unfortunately too low flying Harrier from heaven, rammed our car. When I brought them from the roadside, I had to admire the claws. They were razor sharp and pointed like daggers ... Great photo!

What a beautiful looking owl! I don't ever recall seeing one like this! It almost reminds me of a toy furbie. They used to be in such high demand a few years back, that it became impossible to get one anywhere! Beautiful texture and colour!

The handsome owl looks quite wisely at ease, even in the knowledge that it was being photographed with the pretty young lady, Angie. I thought that was you at first. In any event, a terrific portrait.
