Dragon Archer Caleya has a burning passion for fighting fireworms (she never calls them dragons). Although her methods are considered reckless and even insane by the other archers, they are tolerated by her Captain because she gets results. Her intense hatred of fireworms started 6 months ago when she was off rotation and at home with her younger sister Taianna. One night a single dragon got passed the border defenses and attacked Caleya's village. As usual for them it flew about and set many structures on fire, but then it singled out one cottage for a particularly brutal attack. They were both sleeping when Caleya was startled from sleep by a loud crash. Still not fully awake she was confused as to why the air was cold and damp as if she was outside. Then from the loft she heard Taianna screaming and calling her name. Caleya ran to the ladder and when she looked up into the loft, where the roof should have been, she saw the night sky. Her sister Taianna looked down at her and reached out with both arms. Caleya started up the ladder to grab Taianna, but was thrown back by a blast of hot air. She landed hard on the floor. When Caleya finally made it into the loft there was nothing left. The intense heat of the dragon flame had taken away everything in the upper level including Taianna . That is all Caleya can remember from that night. Others in the village said they saw her running in the streets with her bow. When she got to the center of the village she climbed up into the big oak tree and waited. What she did next amazed everyone for it was thought to be impossible. With a perfectly aimed shot Caleya killed the demon with a single arrow through the heart. Her actions that night probably saved the rest of the village. The next day she left for the western border and has been there ever since. For Caleya fighting dragons is no longer her duty in the defense of the Elven Kingdom. It's a Vendetta - and it's Personal!

For this scene I used my Conifer Forest 2 render as a background and added light rays by following this photoshop tutorial (phlearn.com). The character Caleya is the same used in Dragon Archer, but her outfit is new and has a mix of accessories from different products.
