Description
My wife regularly clips flowers from our backyard, places them in a vase & puts them on our bathroom window sill. It's a small thing, but it's one I would never think to do & I appreciate her thoughtfulness & the way it brightens up the room...

It's nice that she does that, and that you notice and appreciate it! I like the bright, high-key backlighting, and the way the corner of the window repeats itself. (I know ... I'm weird ... but you know I notice stuff like that all the time! LOL!)

ok, I lied, I'm doing 2 right now. I know it's not Prague, but I've seen all your other work during my hiatus, and I don't know where to begin. This is nigh perfect: in its texture, its contrast of high light and deep dark (in the vase hues, in the shadow on the deep green leaves), in the near silk or crepe textures of the flowers and fine detail in their veins, in the silhouette of the stems against that melded yellow-white sky, in the one side of the window frame---a great choice to show only one side---and its repetitions (I noticed them too, ala tara), and in the clean almost paint-wash blues of the wall and bathroom sill. Something Chinese about this, in attention to detail and yet major open space (their famous "tao"). And your use of that lightly grained yellow for the background is just perfect. Beautiful. And it really blooms in full view (3 clicks now).
(btw, favs have lost a pull for me, since we can't write anything for them, and there's no notice anywhere that we've given or received them...what a find choice on RR's part! So just know your gallery is a major fav. RR made faving far less viable, as well as taking all the texts we wrote away without asking us...)
