Description

Not only was Cleopatra the Queen of the Nile, but she was also a very cunning business woman. On a piece of papyrus found near a grave site, near Cairo, in 1904, it was written that a shipment of wheat was to be shipped out of Egypt “duty free” in exchange for substantial import of wine. It was to be given to Publius Canidius, an aide to Mark Anthony. At the bottom of the papyrus Cleopatra had scribbled the Greek word, genethoi. Roughly translated, that word means “let it be so” or “make it happen!” So, more than 2050 years ago, Cleopatra had actually coined the phrase, “get ‘er done!” This is way before Larry the Cable Guy came up with it ! ! ! Excellent scene. Bacchus and Aphrodite, Antony and Cleopatra. Descendant of Ptolemy one of Alexander's Generals, Cleo had a way with men. First Julius Caesar and later Marc Antony. A sad tale of love and sacrifice. Trump reminds me of Antony in a lot of ways.
