Description

Yes, I know... I must pay more attention to the real titles. Sigh. Despite the AD monogram, I cannot find this image in my searches thru Durer-related web sites. I like it. Smallish painting, mounted low in a case behind plexiglass. Thus we have some reflection showing up along with some distortion given the perspective at work. I'd glommed onto the fact that shooting straight on guaranteed that I'd be in the image somewhere. So a nice domestic scene unlike most Durer paintings and woodcuts I was familiar with. Now I'm waiting for someone to tell me it's really an Albert Dumkowski who used a similar monogram. Enjoy; thanks for viewing.

She looks a bit sad. And pleating a crown of flowers. Makes me wonder what the situation is that the artist is trying to hint at. And, yes, you must photograph at an angle if you're photographing through any type of glass. Also helps if you can avoid using flash. Nice job on this. Keep up the good work. :-)
