Description

As you can see my babies have grown rapidly! They have more than doubled in size. This is their first day outside. I finished building their new cage this morning. I have been attempting to get them to peck at seeds. I'm hoping that being in the bigger cage out side will encourage them to start self feeding. Doves are the sweetest little birds. They love attention and cuddles. It's going to be hard to see them go! For those that have seen my video of the visiting fox, he came and checked out the new cage to see if he could get an easy meal. He was disappointed that he couldn't find a way in!

they grow up so fast, don't they. and soon they'll be leaving the nest. they are cute. Glad that the fox was stymied

Glad Mr fox couldn't get in.wow so much pleasure in seeing the doves,what a difference those 2 wks have made,you have been a busy bee,you must be very proud of them xx

They look great. Yes indeed, birds mature quickly, especially this breed. I am certain you will be glad when they start feeding themselves. Nice capture of this dynamic duo.
