Description

This is behind Ft. McHenry and the name comes from the grain silos which used to be here. There was a plan to incorporate at least part of the grain silos into the housing structure, but I'm not sure if that happened. Anyhow, we saw, some years back, efforts to repurpose that area of the industrial landscape and this is a look at the final result. It is a large complex and all of Locust Point seems to be undergoing a renaissance to some extent. A tad fancy-schmancy but still comfortably residential. Some of the bars I was used to passing on my drives to/from the Naval Reserve Center have really changed their appearance. Probably more brass pots and ferns than anchor tattoos these days. Probably plenty of other tattoos, but what the heck. (I'm old-fashioned; a pretty woman should not have more tattoos than an amphibious landing ship full of marines. That's just my opinion.) Enjoy; thanks for viewing.
