Description
... comes the finding of casualties.
In Europe some people are celebrating the anniversary of D-Day. They should be mourning, not celebrating. Those of us who lost family in WWII see little reason to glorify any war.
Unfortunately those who never experienced war can't understand it, and I'm sad to say even my youngest son only understood after he went to war. At least he came back, not like others.
I set this up as a fantasy scene to soften its impact a little.

you are absolutely right. People who have never experienced suffering on their own body and never had contact with someone who has experienced suffering, we can never assess this. Of course, I do not want to experience all the suffering to understand. But we must not close our eyes to it.

I did my time in army,all men have to go army in my country age of 18-20. Our family lost 15 men in winter war and WW 2.five men are M.I.A.
